keyboard shortcuts
Every key yapyap listens to, in one table.
All shortcuts can be rebound or switched off under Settings → preferences → shortcuts. Mod means ⌘ on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux.
system-wide
These work from any app, even when the yapyap window is closed.

notes
- A rebind that collides with an existing shortcut is rejected — yapyap keeps the previous one and names the action that holds it.
- On Linux under Wayland, the system-wide shortcuts are unavailable. The in-app keys and the tray menu still work.
- The tray menu mirrors the system-wide actions: start, stop, mark, dictate.
